Dramma vago (nebulous, ambiguous drama) is a con sordino action, in a fog. Similar to the first piece in the series, Dramma muto,
here musical gestures are defamiliarized through their proximity. They
are very heterogeneous and recur from time to time alternating
inconsequently and forming what Stravinsky had called "construction in
parallelisms".
